YOUR LONDON CABBIE

PETER MULCAHY

My name is Peter Mulcahy. I’m a Londoner, and I have always been fascinated by this great city: its history, dynamism, and cultural diversity.

I passed the full knowledge of London exam and am a fully qualified taxi tour guide.

As a London cabbie, I mix my love of the city with my desire to share knowledge. Historical links can be found between London and many countries throughout the world, and I’ve created many London Black Cab tours to illustrate this.

Whether you’re interested in American history in London, discovering the only London Beatles tour recognised by the Cavern Club, or a specific cultural focus, I am adaptable and can design a tour just for you.

I grew up in Limehouse on East India Dock Road, which connects the East End with the Square Mile of the financial district and ultimately onto the West End.

The East End of London has long been home to immigrant communities. With Irish parents and a broad set of friends from Jewish, Italian, West Indian, and Chinese origins, I got to see firsthand the numerous cultures that make London so intriguing.

My adventure took an unexpected turn as my boxing career took me to Europe and North America. I even spent a year living in Buffalo, New York, which sparked my interest in American history and its fascinating connections to London.

My London Black Cab Tours embrace people of all races, religions, abilities, and ages. My taxi is wheelchair and buggy accessible, and I always like having four-legged passengers along for the ride.

London is more than just a metropolis; it is a melting pot with countless stories to share. I’m here to guide you through its secrets, one journey at a time.
