I have known Peter now for over 30 years now he has always a top class boxer and then coach. He has worked with me at the West Ham Boxing Club and he has trained my own grandson at Broad Street Boxing Club where he has coached many boxers to a good standard. I Ron Philipson President of the London Amateur Boxing Association would recommend him to anyone that wish to be coached to a fit and healthy state.
I first met Peter when I joined BSBC in 1997 and he was Head Coach. He focused my enthusiasm and commitment to boxing and along with the training team, took me through to the National Boxing Championships. When Peter became more involved with training his daughters at the St Albans Athletic Club I was happy to step into his shoes and carry on the good work as head coach at Broad Street.
I joined Broad Street Boxing Club in 2000. I met Peter Mulcahy during my first year when he was Head Coach at the Club. I was selected to box for England against the USA, represented London on numerous occasions and was a finalist in the British Boxing Association finals. I went on to win the British title two years later after which I turned professional. I have always found Peter to be consistently hardworking, forward thinking and committed to the development of the all round athlete.
